I am a Kenyan citizen by birth and my names are Esther Njoki Muigai.I am aged 28 years old.I live in Eldama-Ravine town,Rift Valley province,Rongai sub- County,Kenya.I come from a humble family background under the leadership of my committed parents and i am a Christian and a committed church member of Kings Outreach Church,Makutano Alter.I participate in worship choir in my church.
I am a wife and a mother of two beautiful children,a boy and a girl. The first born(a boy) has 9 years and the girl has 2 years. After my college education, employment had been a major challenge for me,and this is what led me to start small business so that i can be self employed.Since the employment had been scarce in my country to get, most of the youths are now diverting their strength to entrepreneurship and as a result the competition in business is growing.Thank you so much.
From the ever growing population in the town, that is how i got an idea to start feeding the nation.I invented the business in hotel industry and opened a small restaurant here in Eldama-Ravine town,Kenya. The business has been in operational since June,2013.From then the business has been getting more customers and new orders of the latest African delicacies.I started by serving only tea and snacks(Mandazi, samosas, sausages, kebabs.)
My restaurant has been licensed for the food handling from the foods & poisons board, and also inspected by the Municipal Council Authorities and approved for the trade license. Here you cannot operate a hotel or a restaurant without prior inspection from the two boards
Now the business has grown more and even my customers are building each new day. That is why i want to introduce other food delicacies in my restaurant so that i can tap the growing demand. From the month of December,i was able to get a profit worthy kshs.9,000.The business has the potential to make more revenue sales after i introduce new food delicacies to my customers. From the kind considerations in supporting my business, the customers will be able to get their favorite foods and fresh ones direct from my kitchen, instead of me telling them i don't have.I will start cooking the new dishes immediately i get more support from you(Zidisha Microfinance)and this will make me feed more customers and also tap more revenues in my sales.Thank you for the kind support and your generous loan. Thanks so much.
Thank you zidisha Microfinance in your kind consideration for supporting my restaurant.I will be able now to introduce the new African food delicacies that my customers keep on asking from me.The funds will directly assist me in buying the raw foods as follow:
