About Me

Hello lenders,
my names are Daniel Kivango Malului married to Miriam Mumbua and blessed with 4kids two boys and two girls. Our first born Hervey Kimuli Kivango was born in 10/10/2008 and is currently in standard seven while second born Mary Kaveke Kivango was born on 15th/09/2012 and she is in Grade 3. Our third born Abigael Munini Kivango was born on 28th/01/2016 and she is now in PP2,Our last born Jeremy Mulei Kivango was born on 24th/04/2018 and he has not yet joined school.I grew up in Rural area where I attended both my primary and secondary school before joining a college in a city of Mombasa, where I studied shipping but never sat for my final exam due to lack of exam fee . That's when I got an opportunity to train in a 5 star hotel and landed my first job there. I was able to take myself to college and studied travel and tourism until consultant level.

My Business

I started with motorbike spare part business from my salary saving before joining zidisha which gave my business a remarkable boost until I was able to open a new business of water purification which is the newest project I have currently. Thanks to lenders and zidisha at large for this achievement.I have employed 3 workers to start with and sponsoring local rugby club with drinking water every time they have a match.

Loan Proposal

As the rain continues, I have run out of rear shock absorbers which cost USD 20 (KES 2000) per pair, wholesale price. I will sell them at a price of USD 40 (KES 4000) per pair. From this loan amount, I will be able to purchase 9 pairs at a price of USD 180 (KES 18000). This will give me a profit of USD 20 (KES 2000) per pair, times 9 pairs, amounting to USD 180 (KES 18000). This will give me a 100% profit. I will reinvest the profit into my business, as I still have a lot of spare parts lacking in my store due to capital challenges. The balance of USD 19.04 (KES 1904), which will remain after purchasing the shock absorbers, I will add into my MPESA working float. USD exchange rate is 100 at the moment. This will see my business grow, step by step, as I focus on achieving my goal of starting to import my stock. It also will give others an opportunity to earn a living as I will have to employ more staff besides the one mechanic I currently have for servicing motorbikes.
