i began my schooling at Mumias Complex primary :O: level, Musingu High school and Masinde Muliro University. i have further studied purchasing and supplies at the University of Nairobi, and followed the same with ItalComArt College for computer proficiency. i have been working on contracts when called upon, on casual basis, and due to livelihood demands i had to get down and better my position in society by taking my skill to another level in service provision industry.
i am a private statistics consultant and own a cyber cafe for upkeep and photocopy business along other consultancy services. i financed my initial capital through savings. currently i own five desktops, a copier machine, a laptop, passport photograph printer, a wi-fi enabled internet service and i repair phones and on a good day i have good business able to sustain my livelihood. i began working with computer repairs way back in 2007 when i joined campus, during my study time off i could work to repair printers in town in a rental premise or when and where the client was. i have worked with GiZEndev, KARLO kakamega, Probation office and Law Courts in Mumias, KnBS, Ipsos and other companies recently being USAID- RTI K-Yes program. business hasn't been a walk in the park considering lack of capital and sponsorship
for this second loan am going to add to my stock of reams of paper, binding glue and tape, pay my electricity bill and ensure my stock is running well.
a box of five reams of printing paper costs 1850, a tape and glue go for Kshs. 500 and the rest I'll cater for my electricity bills.
