About Me

Senegalese woman born in 1978 in Dakar. I am single without any children and I live with my family. My mother, my father and they are both still taking care of me. I also have 5 sisters and 4 brothers. I did not go to the French school but my sisters did go and have a superior education. We are not renting our house and the house that we live in belongs to us. We are from the DIOURBEL region precisely from Khombole. A member of the community talked to me about Zidisha and let us know all the conditions to be a member of Zidisha

My Business

I am very aware of my illiteracy. Since a young age I started to be involved in retails to make sure I have a better future. I started with a little bit of money and started my own business. Little by little my commerce started increasing and I was able to invest more. I am a merchant and I sell waxed fabrics, tinted fabrics and various woman accessories. I am renting a space at the Unit 17 of the market and one of my sister is working with me.

Loan Proposal

I will order fabrics for my enterprise. I have a canteen at the market unit 17 of the Parcelles Assainies. I will leave for Mali to by waxed fabrics that are very in high demand by my customers and especially in preparation of the Tabaski holiday. Its commonly called the “Moton’s” festival and people really need fabrics.

About Me

Femme sénégalaise, née en 1978 à Dakar, je suis célibataire sans enfant et je vis en famille avec ma mère et mon père qui me prennent toujours en charge j’ai cinq sœurs et quatre frère. Je n’ai pas l’école française contrairement à mes sœurs qui ont fait des études supérieur assez poussées. Nous ne vivons pas en location et la maison où nous vivons nous appartiens. Nous sommes originaires de la région de DIOURBEL plus précisémement à khombole d’où sont originaire mon père et ma mère. J’ai connu Zidisha par l’intermédiaire d’un membre de notre groupement et qui nous assister et nous a faire savoir les conditions pour être membre de zidisha

CONSCIENTE de ma situation d’anaphabète je suis très tôt orienté vers le commerce pour assurer un avenir meilleur. C’est ainsi que j’ai commencer avec de petite somme pour faire du commerce et au fur et à mesure mon commerce marche et j’augmente ma capacité. Je suis commerçante et je vends des tissus wax, tissus teintés, bazin et divers accessoires pour femme. J’ai pris un local en location dans le marché de l’unité 17 et une de mes sœurs travaille avec moi.
