About Me

I'm Mariam from Kenya Busia county mabale village ..I'm running a small village shop in the center of this village..selling household basics like cooking oil,soap,sugar,charcoal , cereals like green grams etc. I started with a capital of 2500 , on the verandah of the same shop before expanding and renting the shop.

My Business

I run a small shop in the center ..my startup income came from a Merry go round group that I was a member. The Merry go round is savings group which we also save and share out during the end of the year. We have a member ship of 12 members .every member saves a hundred shillings weekly while the Merry go round is 200 shillings per week given to one member .the a hundred is shared during closure end of year.

Project Proposal

The funds that I have requested for shall be used to restock my small duka with basic items namely soap cooking oil match boxes exercise books pomade tomatoes , this basic items can never miss market they are the fastest moving products in my locality and the profits shall go into my extra activity poultry. I will make it apoint to buy at least a hen or two in a week to grow my side hustle poultry keeping .
