About Me

I'm Mariam from Kenya Busia county mabale village ..I'm running a small village shop in the center of this village..selling household basics like cooking oil,soap,sugar,charcoal , cereals like green grams etc. I started with a capital of 2500 , on the verandah of the same shop before expanding and renting the shop.

My Business

I run a small shop in the center ..my startup income came from a Merry go round group that I was a member. The Merry go round is savings group which we also save and share out during the end of the year. We have a member ship of 12 members .every member saves a hundred shillings weekly while the Merry go round is 200 shillings per week given to one member .the a hundred is shared during closure end of year.

Project Proposal

The funds disbursed will be used to fund the above project which consists of plastic shoes for adults and children. These is a back to school season, there is a high demand for the scholastic materials including shoes, bags, books etc. I intend to add abit of shoes and bags for the scholars subject to availability of funds . I will be very grateful for your speedy support thank you in advance.
