About Me

I'm a36 yr old family man trainned in food and beverage production to a diploma level.
I've been working in hotels and restaurants for over 10 yrs. during this time I've realised that there is a specific waste in hotels that I can recycle add value and sell it at an affordable price to low-income people here in kisumu city and its environs.
this is nothing but used oils from big fryers.

My Business

I do coolect used vegetable oils from hotels purify them and make laundry bar soaps and sell them affordably.i choose this business because ive been a hotel chef for 8yrs and we always throw used waste oils in volumes of litres and ithought of how else it can be utilized. i make good soaps with few chemicals unlike soap industries do. i have avery huge market.

Loan Proposal

ill use the loan to buy raw materials for my laundry soap making business. the business is picking very fast and ill need more funds in the near future

Hi George, of course we are always interested in being repaid because it means we can help others, but an update would be nice! We would like to know how everything went with your laundry bars. I worry it did not go as well as you had hoped, and this is why you cannot make a payment. If you could update your lenders, it would be great, thank you!

You should contact the Staff about that, George, if you haven't already done so. To contact them, you would need to click on the HELP link in your account. (This is who currently is on the Staff, a/k/a Team: www.zidisha.org/team.) Please be patient for a reply, as they are only two (2) people and Zidisha membership currently is over 350,000 and each of those accounts (borrowers' and lenders' accounts) has a HELP link, too. So, patience is required.
