About Me
I was born in Parakou in 1971. I am married and mother of 3 kids, 2 girls and one boy. I went to school up to junior high. I starting doing hair and graduated with a diploma in 1990 where I opened my own salon. I have managed to make my business grow by being committed and determined and with the help of different micro financing institutions. My salon is located opposite the textile factory of Benin on the interstate road leading to Burkina Faso. Next to my salon is the radio station 'fraternité' and two big factories in Benin, namely the Société Nationale de Commercialisation du Pétrole (SONACOP) and the Société Nationale de Production Agricole (SONAPRA). The women working in this industrial area are a regular clientele for me, and I can add to my clientele also the people living in the neighborhood Camp-Adagbé and around.
My Business
My salon has been opened since 1990 thanks to my mother’s support.
Today I can evaluate my shop’s value at 3.500.000 FCFA. This includes my equipment and all the hair accessories such as hair care products, extensions etc… I bring in a daily revenue of 50.000 FCFA on average (hair and profit from selling products). I keep 100.000 FCFA of the profits and reinvest the rest into the business.
My geographic location is an real competitive advantage. My salon is located on an important interstate route and the proximity of three important enterprises and a public university allow me to have enough clients to whom I can offer my products and services.
Your loan will help me to increase my stock of extensions and hair care products and this will make my clients very happy.
Loan Proposal
The loan that I am asking for will help me to increase the amount of hair care products that I can sell to the clients who come to get their hair dressed and also to ordinary clients. I am talking about extensions, hair care products, products for manicure and pedicure. These items will help me to offer a large gamma of products which will raise trust for my clients and which will assure them that they can find everything on the spot. It will thus not only help me to enlarge my clientele but also to work towards a more loyal clientele. The direct consequence will be that I will be able to increase my daily revenue with 10 000 to 15 000 FCFA a day. In this way I will be able to contribute to a 'tontine' (community savings system) with 5000 FCFA per day and I can repay my loan in maximum four months.

Je suis née à Parakou depuis 1971. Je suis marié et mère de 3 enfants dont deux filles et un garçon. J'ai le niveau scolaire de la classe de 3èm du collège.
Je me suis engagée à la coiffure et j'ai obtenue mon diplôme de coiffeuse en 1990 date à laquelle j'ai ouvert mon atelier. Depuis je l'ai entretenu par mon engagements et les différents appuis obtenu des structures de microfinances de la place. J'ai ouvert mon atelier depuis 1990 par l'appui de ma mère.
Aujourd'hui je peux évaluer mon atelier à 3 500 000 FCFA. Ceci est composé de mon matériel de coiffure et les articles de coiffures que j'ai associé. Comme article de coiffure je peux citer: les produits de cheveux, les méchés, etc.
Par jour je fais un chiffre d'affaires de 50 000 FCFA en moyenne (coiffure et vente des articles). Je gagne moi même un revenu de 100 000 FCFA et j'investis le reste.
Ma position géographique est un avantage conccurentiel importante. En effet ma situation sur la route interétat ét la présence à prosimité de trois grande industries et d'une université public me permet d'avoir assez de clients qui ont besoin que je dispose des articles de coiffures sur place.

Le Prêt que je désir m’aidera à augmenter mes article de coiffure que je vends au client qui viennent se coiffer chez moi et clients ordinaire. il s'agit des pêches, des produits des cheveux, des produits des manucures et des pédicures. Ces articles permettrons d'avoir une large gamme de produits ce qui donnera plus confiance à mes clients et l'assurance d'avoir tout leur besoin sur place. Aussi cet permettra non seulement d'accroitre ma clientèle mais aussi de la fidéliser avec pour corolaire d'augmenter mon chiffre d'affaire de d'environ 10 000 à 15000 FCFA par jour.
