Thank you, Joost... Trust me i have taken every available measure to see to the refund but nothing positive came out, that's why i have to make it open.. I have created a support ticket in respect of both transactions, the first on the 23rd December while the second on the 28th, and yet as I write nothing has been done and its unlikely anything will be done... I'll rather pull out and as well inform the whole world about the scam I experienced on Zidisha than to wait and allow them wreck me... Despite the exhorbitant interest rate, you Still take my money and would not remit it, expecting me to repay again... It won't work this time

Dear Timothy,

It can take up to 3 business days, US Eastern Time, for a repayment to be credited to your account.

After that time, if the payment hasn’t been credited please create a support ticket with the following details:
- Date you made the payment
- Payment amount
- Phone number or account number you used to send the payment
- Transaction ID of your payment

Also check the payments of the previous loans. Sometimes an payment of a few month ago isn’t recorded. Then it only looks if a current payment isn’t recorded but it is booked correctly and is shown on the old loan where there is a missing payment.

So check carefully which payments aren’t recorded and then create a support ticket using the help menu (www.zidisha.org/borrower/help) with the correct info.

Dear Lenders, I'm a medical doctor from Nigeria in Africa. On December 23, I took a loan and was to repay a total sum of N5,792, I repaid on December 24th but the loan repayment wasn't credited to my account, after I waited for about 24hours without any remittance and because I needed a higher loan amount, I had to repay thinking the initial error would be looked into and the initial one paid would be credited back to my account as I am aware network error could cause such kind of issue, up till today, Zidisha have not refunded me... And just yesterday, the 28th of December, I attempted repaying another loan of N17,767 (local currency amount), it was again debited and I got the bank alert from my bank but up till now it has not been refunded back to my bank account and neither was it updated on my loan profile; no payment receipt was issued, just like the initial one of December 24th... I won't repay this until these errors are looked into and appropriate measure are taken... I am beginning to think Zidisha is a scam because there's no contact telephone number to reach the administrators through, and all the 'Help' links I opened where not responded to.. Ask Zidisha for the loan repayments and not me pls... Attached are copies of the bank alerts, yet no update on my loan profile and neither was any refund done back into my bank account... I think I have to bring this to the attention of everyone about how Zidisha has been frustrating my loan growth.. It happened the first time and I opened a link on the "Help" section to lodge a complain but up till now nothing has been done and yet this second one happened again. On the 23rd of December, 2018, I repaid a loan of N5,792 but Zidisha did not issue any receipt and at the same time the repayment was not effected on my account. When I couldn't reach thr management team and I sure needed another loan, I had to initiate another payment; this time it was effected on my account. Just about some hours again, I tried repaying my loan of N17,767, my account was debited but the changes were not effected on my account. What's really happening? Is this a scam or something? And yet no one has the management team contact information to lodge this type of complaint... I think I'll have to launch a campaim against this organization if nothing is done to this issue.. I'm so pained it happened again.. Attached is the evidence for the first payment, repayment and the very last one that just happened. Good day!

  Timothy, I assure Zidisha is not a scam. It must be frustrating to have the issues you’ve had; I’m sure someone will get back to you soon. Have you tried contacting them through Twitter? It is my understanding that most of the zidisha administration are volunteers so maybe the delay is due to the Christmas holiday?
