About Me

I am 25 years old and come from a family of three - one sister and one brother where I am the first born. My parents are small scale farmers from Eastern region of Kenya. I relocated to Mombasa three years ago in search of greener pastures. I am hard working and honest and this qualities have brought me to where I am today from a very humble beginnings.

I did my secondary school education and later did an ICT course in computer maintenance and networking at the Technical University of Mombasa. After failing to secure employment after college, I decided to start a business where I sell mobile phones and related accessories.

My Business

My business deals with sales of mobile phones and accessories such as headphones, phone chargers and batteries. These items are in high demand due to digital explosion that the region is undergoing currently.

This has seen my business grow from strength to strength and I make a profit of about $300 per month. In spite of the relative success my business has made over time, I feel a little credit would increase the growth pace. With a loan of $150 I will be able to stock more accessories for my phone shop and I am sure I will make a good profit out of the increased sales.

Loan Proposal

This is my second loan application at Zidisha. I used the first loan to stock my phone shop with accessories and this boosted my sale volumes significantly. I have planned to venture into more lucrative phone sales and my first attempt is to stock low end phones which are very popular with the local masses most of whom cannot afford expensive phones.

if given this loan, I will spend it to buy a stock of 18 assorted phones which I am sure to sell within a period of two months. This will be a big boost to my business and it has always been my desire increase my sales volumes.

I will remain committed to repaying my loan on time since I have a long term plan with the zidisha credit. Thank you in advance.

I am sorry to reschedule my loan repayment once again. I must admit that I made a mistake by relocating to a new place. I thought I would save some money by moving my business to a backstreet and this has proved disastrous since I have lost most of my customers. I am now in the process of looking for a better location so as to improve my sales. In the meantime, please bear with me as I sort myself out.

My business has taken a dip in the last few months. I hope to regain my normal cash flow in a few months time. For this reason and with a heavy heart, I wish to reduce my my weekly installment to 250/- I ask for your understanding as I sort myself out.

I am committed to repaying the loan fully within the shortest time possible. Thank you all.

    Hi Lenders,

I believe in the old adage that the last minute can save a man. Similarly I believe these last hours before my loan expires will make a difference.

This loan will make a big difference in my business and I don't want to miss this rare chance. I am waiting...

    Thank you.
