About Me

I am a Kenyan lady who is very industrious and very committed to my work. I strive excel in everything I put my mind to. I am a perfectionist when dealing with my work and I always put my customers needs first.

I am neat and organized and always deliver good results within the stipulated amount of time.

My Business

Leonaige Cyber Cafe is located in a quiet location in Kahawa Wendani where clients can chill and work in a comfortable environment without disturbances.

We offer high quality internet services and other services like typesetting, photocopy, scanning of documents, drafting of official documents among others. We also do computer maintenance and offer internet at home services which include installation and supply all at very affordable prices.

At Leonaige, our clients come first and we strive to provide the best quality services this side of the Country.

Loan Proposal

I am hoping to use my current loan to purchase computer accessories for resale. From where the cyber cafe is located to Nairobi CBD, it is a considerable distance especially when replacing computer accessories that have broken down e.g. keyboards and computer mouses.

It is also difficult to get refilled printer toners. With this loan, I am hoping to buy a few computer accessories which I can sell to other computer users and reduce the hustle of having to travel all the way to Nairobi CBD for simple computer accessories.

My cyber cafe is located in a student filled area. We are in the vicinity of Kenyatta University do many of our clients are students. Most of them prefer using their personal computers to using the cyber cafe's machines because they can easily access their files without having to transfer them from computer to computer with thumb drives. I have noted that most of the students carry portable keyboards and wireless mice. Those who want to purchase this items have difficulty finding them around Kahawa Wendani and have to travel to the CBD which leads to unnecessary extra costs.

With this loan, I would like to purchase at least 10 portable keyboards. Portable keyboards that are of good quality and pocket friendly for students go for around KES 800 each i.e. @ USD 7.6

10 such keyboards would therefore cost approximately KES 8,000 i.e. USD 76

I would also like to purchase at least 10 wireless computer mice. A good quality wireless mouse that students are willing to buy would cost me about KES 700 i.e. USD 6.5

10 Such mice would therefore cost me approximately KES 7000 i.e. USD 67

There has also been an increase of students who own Wi-fi tablets. Students are willing to buy Wi-fi tablets which cost between 5 to 8,000 KES i.e. between 47 to 76 USD. With the extra income earned from my last loan, I bought a Lenovo wi-fi tablet and a KIDDO wi-fi tablet for a wholesale price of KES 12000 i.e. approximately 114 USD which I did manage to sell at a KES 14000 therefore earning an extra KES 1000 i.e. . 10 USD profit each.
I would like to buy at least 2 more KIDDO wi-fi tablets which would cost me @ KES 4000 i.e @ USD 38 totaling to USD 76 i.e. approximately KES 8000.
I would also like to purchase two more Lenovo wi-fi tablets which would cost me @ KES 8000 i.e. @ 76 USD totaling to USD 152 i.e. approximately KES 16000.

The total amount for this accessories would be
10 Keyboards - KES 8000 (USD 76)
10 Wireless Mice - KES 7000 (USD 67)
2 Kiddo Wi-fi tablets - KES 8000 (USD 85)
2 Lenovo Tablets - KES 16000 (USD )

This adds up to KES 39000 i.e. USD 370
I am hoping that with the little profit earned from the resale of this accessories, then I can manage to buy more accessories (a few at a time) so i can utilize the extra shop space.

I hereby appeal to my lenders to fund my application so we can grow Leonaige Cyber Cafe to Leonaige Cyber Cafe and Computer Accessories. If given the opportunity, I promise to make timely payments so as to make it possible for others to get funded.

Thank you.

I once again thank you for believing in me.
