About Me

I was born into a humble family in the city of Nairobi kenya in January 1980. I was schooled up to high school level when my Dad passed on while I was awaiting to join college. I was thereby forced to look for employment, which I swcured and used the income to pay for my university course (B.com - Finance). I managed to complete it and got a better job as a marketer, whereby 2 years later, the company downsized by retrenching a number of us. It is at this point that I chose to embark on an entrepreneurial journey, carrying out my own business ventures, to date.
I have a son who wishes to be a pilot when he grows up.
In my work environment, I am driven by the resolve of people working odd jobs in an attempt to fulfill their dreams.
My hobby is appreciating nature. I love growing plants and keeping animals, which I do in the village, with an aquarium in my city dwelling.

My Business

My current business is a combination of entertainment and essential service provision.
I sell movies, both new and classic, which I purchase from distributors for resale to clients. Demand for this was realized on seeing that people undergo a lot of stress in modern society and seek an escape such as watching an appealing movie to relieve their stress.
I also charge phones at a fee. With everyone having a smartphone that is always out of charge, I found it essential to provide a secure environment to provide this service.

I am currently running a small cyber cafe, whose demand is growing and prompts me to respond by increasing capacity to satisfy demand.
I see the cyber as an enlightening project within the community as it has got many people interested in computing and / or the internet.

It is for these reasons that I wish to increase capacity by improving on internet speeds, acquiring more CPUs as well as working towards having proper backup power. I am also intending to reinforce our security grills for the premises.

My typical costs are rent, staff wages, stock purchases, electricity bills and general maintenance costs.
Proceeds from the business assist to pay for my sons school fees, as well as helping friends and relatives, as well as children in the village go to school.

I am happy to report that our cyber cafe has been a welcome idea in our community whereby we are able to teach some basic computing to many whom we realise do not know how to use a desktop computer yet own smartphones. We are opening up a whole new world for such, and bringing services closer for others.

Your help once more will be highly appreciated and I promise to put the funds to proper and disciplined use as follows:

a. Purchase two(2) core i3 CPUs @ Ksh. 25,000/=
b. Back up power genset @ Ksh. 20,000/=
c. UPS voltage protection @ Ksh. 10,000/=
d. Other expenses will include branding, advertising, installation of secirity grills, etc.

Thank you in advance as I look forward to your generous consideration.
Have a a good day!

Loan Proposal

I propose to borrow for the purposes of increasing my capacity in terms of stock, in order to satisfy growing demand and also have a variety of products, in this case, the number and type of movies respectively. This will enable me satisfy client needs and therefore increase efficiency. I also additionally intend to purchase a led light advertising sign for more visibility (advertising).
All this will in turn increase client numbers and therefore turnover. Higher turnover will increase my profits by an estimated 25% to start with, and higher with time as clients slowly increase.

This individual has NEVER called me. It is unfortunate that he claims to have done so. I never disregard calls, even missed ones.

I am financially strained and can only repay a small amount every week, which is even lower than the allowed minimum. I beg your understanding.

        Hi.
Thanks for the feedback. I am now encouraged to even try harder. The fact that I am paying less than required in itself is a demotivator..... I promise to keep doing my best. I believe we shall overcome these trying times. Do keep up the good work!

        Kind Regards.

Cashflow is really limited with slow business and rising cost of living. Kindly assist with a lower installment than Ksh. 1128. Maybe some reasonable figure like Ksh. 500/= Please...

I am having difficulty paying a large installment figure at this time when turnover is lower than usual and therefore disposable income is reduced significantly. Kindly facilitate lower installment figures. Thanks

Business is tough and we are now required to send our kids back to school, and with the low revenues in the past, money is insufficient for all current needs. I wish you would allow a lower weekly installment to encourage prompt payment. Thank you.

Business is still slow and therefore difficult for me to pay the required amount. I request that the adjustable instalment also be reduced to allow us pay as required and retain good credit rating.
