About Me

My name is Halima. I was raised in rural Kenya where I schooled. I did my primary education in Nyanturago Primary and Secondary. I later moved to Kereri High School. I passed averagely and went to college where I undertook a diploma in information technology. I then searched for a job, but all I could get were poor-paying jobs. I opted to sell secondhand clothes in Nairobi which I did for some two years, and later opened a cyber. which did well but when I got married I quit the business. I have one child, Jayden, and I have always worked hard to give my child the best education.

My Business

The business I currently run is M-PESA services, and a shop where I sell electronics. I basically sell simple electronics that people use on a daily basis, such as: tvs, bulbs, batteries, tungsten tubes and many other things. These things are fast-moving goods because where I live the population is high, and the area is far from town so most people prefer coming to my shop. I chose this kind of business because it is not run by many people, and I sell things that people require on daily basis.
M-PESA services are convenient because people don't prefer travelling long distances to go to banks to wait in queues to send and withdraw their money.
The typical cost of this business is the cost of replenishing stock.

Loan Proposal

The number of customers frequenting my shop have increased and i thus need to add more stock so that i can serve them better.
I have saved some money, with the loan i will be able to procure enough stock.

I need to stock_. Padlocks at a cost of 200 dollars
Electical cables@400 dollars
Conduits @50 dollars
Bulbs @100 dollars
Swithes @50 dollars

Plus other things such as tapes, screwdrivers, sockets among others @ 250 dollars
