About Me

My name is Ekua Mensima. I am 40 years old with two strong children and a husband. I had only basic education within the community of Prampram in the Greater Accra Region.

I am the first of three children born to my parents. We are all old now and my parents are still alive. Growing up was tough for me as a woman and the first born. As a result, I was tasked to help my parents very early.

I am now a proud fish monger and that is what I have been doing since I was in my twenties.

My Business

I am a fish monger. Locally I am called MAAME Mensima the Fish seller.

Basically that is what our family is known for . We are known for selling quality fish at Dawenya where we have lived all our lives.

We sell fish straight from the sea and others in the form of a cold stored fish. We sell to individual customers and to food vendors and restaurants as well.

Loan Proposal

I am a fish monger. I have a small cold store in my community. I sell fish straight from the sea.

I also sell those imported. So I have deep freezers which store the fish and then customers from my community comes in daily to buy for their daily usage.
