About Me

My name is Kelvin Mwangi.
I was born in Nairobi county but I grew up with my grandparents since my parents had an accident when I was only 6 month and I was the only one who survived.
I'm handicapped that is one of my leg was cut but that doesn't make me less a man.
I went to St Francis of Assissi where I did my Kenya certificate of secondary education and passed with a B+ and later joined Maseno university where I did a course in agricultural engineering.
After campus finding a job was so hectic and most people used to stigmatise me due to my condition but I never gave up on my self.
I began finding a way out from my technical course and began poultry farming, fruits growing and also fruit selling parlour.
I make profits and I use them for my bills, rent and also save for my future.
I'm engaged and I'm glad to learn about zidisha through Facebook.
I am looking forward to expand my business, employ unemployed youth who are jobless or handicapped and also teach upcoming entrepreneurs the art of self employment through self believing, hardworking and having a positive determinations.
Thanks to all lenders , zidisha members and staff.
Shukran

My Business

My business entails poultry farming, fruits growing and selling too.
I make an average of ,40-60 percentage in profits and I use them to pay for my rent, savings, business expansion, and for my basic needs too.
I am looking forward to grow my business and create employment for a lot of youths and adults too.
I believe that through zidisha in general I will be able to grow my business and expand it.
Thanks for taking your time to read my profile.
Asante sana.
