About Me
My name is Enock Gyau a 30 years old young man who lives and work at Ghana health service at sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana.I started and completed my basics and second cycle education in the Easten region of Ghana.I atained my certificate as a biomedical scientist in the school of allied health science legon Accra.As a breliant and a good enterprenure, i established my own laboratory at Duayw nkwanta in the Brong Ahafo region when i completed school.It was not easy buying the equipment and other reagents. The lab. is closer to the main hospital so the attendance is very great, I have been able to employ two personnel who are helping me now so good services are being offered to the people.
My Business
In my laboratory,we offer services such as haemoglobin estimation ,sickle cell test ,malaria test ,full blood count,fasting and random blood sugar,testing for hepatitis B ,C syphlis,HIV test, and antenatal screening, i sat and realized that ,the population in Duayaw nkwanta here is high to have only one laboratory in the hospital so patients find it very difficult when there is a breakdown of equipment or shortage of regent in the hospital. So by establishing this lab, it has really help and is still helping the people. Currently,i have some of the equipment but I need to buy the fully Automated chemistry Analyzer machine which is being used by laboratory personnel in laboratories to run chemistry tests such as liver function test(LFT) ,Renal function test (RFT) etc.
There have been the need to get one of this machine in my laboratory because with the semi automated analyzer it takes a long time to run one test at time thereby prolongs turnaround time in the laboratory and this has been my major problem now.
Loan Proposal
This loan will be used to to buy hb-electrophoresis machine, This is a machine used at the medical laboratory department to determine the genotype of the patient that is weather the patient is a sickle cell positive or negative and feather determine weather the patient is AS,SS,AA,or AC.
This machine will help me to make a lot of profit since most people and patient in the community are being asked by their doctors to perform this test to know their status and also help in terms of couples who are preparing to get married.
Due to this it has become necessary to get this machine to serve those in my community since that of the hospital in the community has break down.
