Dear lenders, my name is Nancy Mwaba, I am the first born of the family of 4, and i did my primary school in Mongu that is where i was born and i relocated to Lusaka for my grade 9 to 12 and completed my high school and obtained a certificate and went to do Teaching course and i am waiting for the government to employ me. But because i cant just seat and wait. I started my grocery business through the help of my Father, He gave me some money to spend at home and i just thought of doing a business in order to generate more income for myself and and my young brothers and sisters. It was a wise thing to do and my Father is proud of me and it is growing steadly since i have never used the profit for anything yet. And i want to include a fridge so that I start stocking soft drinks for customers to buy. I am following what i hear from customers. And i want always be ordering what my customers want. Well, as beautiful as our tourist attraction places are, our country has many beautiful places to visit and we make a lot of money during such seasons when we have too many visitors. We have lake victoria falls, Luangwa valley, thats just few i can mention.
I am running a grocery i opened last year and i have seen it growing steadily because i have paid too much attention on it. I have Sugar, biscuits, sweets, bubble gums, etc. I have most of the small things customer always go for during their shopping in town and i sometime become their one stop shopping place for them. And my working capital was only $500 but today it has gone to $1200 and i still need more to manage to buy other equipment like warmers and i am raising the money for the fridge. This will make me start ordering soft drinks.
I need to buy meat products, rice, soft drinks and cooking oil in my shop, which is out of stock at the moment, i need atleast 150 dollars to cover up for my budget and ensure that the main stocks most customers are available in the shop. However this will help me generate more profits and help me pay school fees for my children 2018 calender for January.Hence having secured the goods i will be able to make sale revenue from ZMK 2000 to 3500, representing 80% to 90% profit income.
