About Me

I am Obeng Kwame Enock from the parents of Mr. Obeng and Mrs. Obeng Bermah. We all live in Biadan, near Berekum in the Brong Ahafo region. I started my elementary school at Akab Complex School and then after continued at Osei Tutu Senior High School at Kumasi.

After my high school education, I got the chance to enter into a tertiary institution (College of Education). After the tertiary education, I decided to start something helpful that will bring something good for me and the community in which I live. That led me to start a business that sells agrochemical products.

I like reading, playing football and volleyball, and making new friends all over the world.

My Business

I started my business that sells agrochemical products in the year 2012. I decided to start that [business in] agrochemical products simply because most of the pupils that live in my community are mainly farmers, and for that matter are in need of this product so as to increase their harvests. These products are highly demanded in my town because there is no [other] agrochemicals shop in the town. The farmers travelled far to buy these chemicals; therefore my shop has come to solve most of their problems. Farmers' work has been in jeopardy because of the activities of swollen shoot and other insects.

I have purchased some chemicals for my shop, but, due to the gradual moving and growing of my shop, the demand for goods has also increased. Since I want to serve my customers better and I also want their happiness, I am appealing to the Zidisha lenders to approve the loan of $150 to expand my shop so that i can serve my customers better.

Loan Proposal

As i have already described my self as an agro chemist supplier in my community, with my previous loan given, i was able to buy 7 modern spraying machines, 5 bags of fertilizers and other agrochemicals like weedicides and pesticides. Those products that i bought has influence my business positively since my customers (farmers) in my community solely depend on me to supply them with what they need in their farm's and work places, but since my credit limit was not enough i wasn't able to buy much of the goods as i intended but with this my current loan i wish to add more or buy more goods than what i bought previously because my customers are requesting for them in higher quantities. For that reasons with this new loan i wishes to buy product like fertilzer but this time will increase from 5 bags to10 bags since my customers patronized it,11 new morde spraying machines, 32 boxes each of other agrochemicals like weedicides and pesticides as well into my shope which in total my cost about $4200.7. The most interesting aspects is that we are in the most favourable season in Ghana and for that matter all farmers and my customers in my community needs me to supply them with the product i sell in my shop, and this is going to place my business in a better position for my customers, community and my family as well. I promise to abide by all zidisha rules. Thank you.
