About Me
I am a mother of seven children and a primary school teacher, which three of the children i have adopted them. During my childhood i must say life was different from today, because i endured several challenges to get where i am. My personal hard work and diligence is what helped to achieve my education and managed to be a teacher. Aside from being a teacher i have a small scale farmer, and the outputs i get from farming i have been using to supplement my pay for school fees, family maintenance and development. My home area is unique in that we can do any kind of farming because we experience rains most of the time. I have given the best for my children and i wish them the best in the future life careers. During my free time i always engage in women empowerment forums and helping the needy in my village.
My Business
I am a teacher and a small scale farmer. These two activities have been my daily income and they have helped to provide for my family and develop myself. Despite that my remuneration from teaching hasn't been enough for my sustenance but farming has also been my backup. I have been rearing cattle, farming maize, beans and potatoes, they have been supplementing my pay from teaching. Aside from the teaching i chose farming because the land was readily available even though small and farming in small scale does not require a lot of capital to start. The entire farming has been giving me a total income of $150 per month. The income i have been getting has been helping supplement with my pay from teaching to cater school fees for my children and provide food for them.
Loan Proposal
I wish to apply a loan to buy school books for my children. Three of my children require textbooks for their studies. The cost of the required textbooks is as follows; The one in standard seven requires some revision textbooks which are costing $20, for the student in Form Three he needs books which are costing $ 30 and while the one in college needs books which are totaling to a cost of $ 40. If given the money i will be grateful and i know it's going to help my children perform well in their studies.
