About Me

MY STORY

My name is Sarah Amoah. I come from Ghana. I live at Madina, near the Nkwantanang Shool in the Greater Accra region. I am married to a Pastor, and with three lovely girls. Worship at God’s Tabernacle of Praise, Fire Stone Branch. My husband is the Mission Director of the church, and I am the leader of the Praise and Worship Team in the women's ministry. Last year, by the grace of God, I was able to form a group called Tabernacle Voices, and God is using us to bless His people through singing.

I dropped out of senior high school in the final year, because my parents broke up. My father married again, he wouldn’t pay my school fees, and my mother was not financially sound. Eventually I join my mother in the Madina Market to do business as a trader. From the year 2000, I have been trading in used clothes and shoes.

I have a great interest in ICT and in late 2011, I took a short course in Microsoft Office. I wish to further that later, if some funds are raised.

My Business

ABOUT MY BUSINESS

I have a shop where I sell used clothes and shoes. I intend to expand this business to meet the increasing demand of my numerous customers. I will need quite an appreciable sum of money to do this. Since my capital is small, I normally select a few clothes from the wholesalers, between $6 to $10 each, and retail for $10 to $13 each. Getting a loan from you would enable me to purchase a bail of used clothes costing between $1,000 to $1,500. I do almost the same for the hose, too.

The loan would help me to purchase at quantity price of clothes and shoes to serve my customers, make good profit, and also sell as a wholesaler.

Loan Proposal

I am requesting for this loan, to expand my clothing business by opening a branch in
another town in my country
I have rented a shop there but need more funds to boost the business . Will need this fund's to buy more clothings and shoes to be able to meet the customers demand in that area.
I will use the loan to buy dresses which range from $10 to $35 . And shoes which range from $12 to 40 dollars and will need about $3000 dollars for me to be able to capture the people in the area to buy in my shop.
This will create shop opportunities for the people there and will help the poor and needy in that cimmunity. And will make my profit to increase to 20% .
God bless you all for the great thing you are doing and Zidisha. Thanks.
