About Me

My name is Akosua Appiah. I am 39 years old and I am single. I have been living in Berekum since I was a child. I have lived in other parts of the country but I am now back to continue my once comfortable life that I had in my hometown.
My mother's name is Afia Appiah and my father's name is Agyei Appiah. Though I did went to school but I was not able to keep up with my peers due to the fact that, much attention was given to my senior brothers as it is normally done in many
Ghanaian communities until recently when things have changed. I was fortunate to complete second cycle education but I was not able to further it due the little attention that my parents gave to us as already stated. I went to Accra (Ghana's capital town) to search for greener pastures. I got employed by one Mr. Gyabaah, a cybercafe owner and from that day I have been drawn to the use of computers and the internet. I was able to learn a lot while working and it has been my main source of income. Finally I am back at my hometown now, I have started my own Cybercafe and I can now call myself an entrepreneur.
People love my services and I am easy to talk to and one thing that I value a lot in my life is trust.

My Business

I am a cybercafe owner and I wish to expand my cafe and make it big. There are a few cybercafe in my hometown operating. If I could be a big part
of it, I think we will be able to successfully serve the Berekum community and its surrounding villages and eventually benefit from our services. The operating cybercafe are not enough to serve all the people who approach us almost on daily basis to seek information or register for schools, job applications, and other transactions that requires the help of the internet.
I have gain much experience and expertise in the cafe business and as such can help a lot of people and my family with that. The internet services business is very lucrative and there is money flowing to us. This will help me to pay the loan on time.

Loan Proposal

I need a loan of about $100 to buy an extra computer to work with. I will hire someone to operate that computer to reduce the work load on me during my working hours. It can help me employ at least one person who can also make ends meet with it. If I am able to have this extra computer in my possession, I am going to earn more than I used to earn since I would be able to serve all the customers that troop to my shop to get their things done. There would be a sure increament of about 25% of my profit; at least $15 per day. I believe my dear lenders will help me raise this loan and will support my project. Thank you all
