About Me

I am called Ernestina Abiaw, a very famous Lady that comes from Sefwi Asawinso. Asawinso is a well known town dominated by cocoa farmers in the western part of Ghana. I was born on 26th March , 1980 by Mr and Mrs Abiaw both are devoted Christians. At my childhood days, I used to accompany my parents to the farm very often because , educating the girl child was not a priority. It was said then that , the role of the girl child was in the kitchen since she will definitely marry and be taking care of the children at home. This in fact, made me to enter into provisions business which I have never regretted since taken that venture. In the future, I would love to see my children attaining higher education especially, the females. I like watching films and playing gospel music whenever I am free .

My Business

Dear lenders, it is not easy to find and to be part of a family which is so trustworthy like zidisha. I always thank God for me to be accepted as a member of this wonderful and caring family. My lenders , my first and second loans were used to establish provision store which is still doing well and fetching me with some profit to crater for my family. But now, my dear lenders, I want to add farming to my bysiness by growing leguminous crops, specifically, growing of soya beans. Recently , Government of Ghana has come out with planting for food and job policy ,where specific crops like soya beans, bambara beans and maize have been selected for nationwide cultivation. At the end, Government will buy the produce from farmers and sell to institutions and the general public, thereby reducing incident of post harvest lost to farmers. I want to take advantage of this thereby cultivating soya beans on a large scale to make more profit to take care of my self and my siblings.

Loan Proposal

Thank you my lenders for your continuous financial assistance giving to me. I am very grateful to you all. The dry season has set in in Ghana so I cannot continue my soybeans farm. Therefore, when I get this loan my lenders, I will use to stock my grocery shop with different items to make more gains. I will use the loan to buy the following items:
Milo & milk=$150
iodated salt=$100
Imported rice=$150
Sardines=$100
Pampers=$100
Footwears &shoes=$200
Sugar=$100
Nido=$100
Transportation=$70
My lenders, at the end of the sales, I intend to use my profit to expand my business and also pay back my loan on time as I have done to my previous loans
Thank you.
