My Business

My business is farming. I grow cassava, maize, beans, and other vegetables annually and after harvest, I sell to market women who are retailers of these products. My farm is located in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana, about 3km away from where I live.
I am able to make two harvests in a year and after each harvest, I dry the crops I must dry and later sell to retailers.
Out of 15 acres of the land I cultivate, four and a half acres of the land is for beans whilst another three and a half is for cultivating maize and the other acres is for the cultivation of my vegetables
and cassava.
I am able to obtain about 20 bags of each crop, after each harvest and also enough vegetables for sale. I gain a lot of money. A lot of hard work and Money do I invest in the farm from land preparation to harvesting of the crops as well as sales.
I employ men and women who help me on the farm to clear the land, cultivate and harvest the crops. I also hire tractors to plough the land. When the crops are cultivated, I apply fertilizers to help the crops do well.

Loan Proposal

Dear Zidisha team and lenders., thanks for the first loan. It really helped a lot.
My wife and I request a second loan of GHS 1926 to sustain our local restaurant popularly called chop bar.
We need GHS1000 to purchase a new piece of land on which we will move the wooden structure.
We need GHS 300 to pay the carpenters who will work on the structure.
We need GHS 300 to buy additional foodstuffs or raw materials.
We will use GHS 300 to acquire additional cooking utensils, tables and chairs on which customers will sit and eat.
We prepare mainly fufu with light soup and banku with okro stew.
We promise to always be faithful in repaying.
Thanks.
