About Me

Am nancy chepkoech a mother of one daughter a christian and a lover of rock music, I schooled at Baricho primary school and Baringo high school i later joined Eldoret [polytechnic and did a course in catering after college i did not get employed and decided to use the small money i had to start a small business in my area i noticed population increase most are bachelors whom are in school and would not find time for cooking so i decided to invest in boiling of maize and beans (GITHERI) and selling them while ready ready for frying.
I did nt have lots of money for a good business but with the small i had i made good use of it, I started with 10 kilograms mixture of Maize and beans which was giving me a a profit of 300 Kenya shilling a day, My business grew as no one else was doing the same business and i started making 500 to 800 Kenya shillings a day.

My Business

I sell ready to eat maize and beans popularly called Githeri in my home,
This is basically maize and beans i buy and boil and people buy to go and eat or fry at their homes which is not time consuming.
I make 1500 Kenya shilling a day 500 is the capital and 1000 Kenya shilling is my profit my expenses are charcoal and water.
People have no time to boil this food it takes time so i make it easy for them and i focus on my target.
I use the money for basic needs and support my siblings in school.

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much for the previous support i have increased my distribution joints and now make double the profit i used to make.
Granted the loan of 390 us dollars am going to buy more maize and beans so to be in sales for long and to make more profit because when you buy maize in bulk the price is a little better.
I will use 300 us dollars on buying maize and beans and 90 us dollars for home improvement.
With the stock in store i will work towards repaying the loan and gaining more customers so to improve my family's life.
