About Me

My name is Juliet Mwangi an author and development facilitator. I am also a wife and mother to three children. I am passionate about family. I love nature and enjoy environmental issues. I have a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Communication and am currently in progress with a master's degree. I am passionate about God and also passionate about the work I do.

My Business

Ghala Delights started in January 2023. We major in propagating bamboo seedlings and selling animal feeds. So far, we have managed to increase production to 20 Tonnes per month. We have also managed to penetrate more regions for supply. We are still working to improve animal feed knowledge through research and place our brand name at the top list in agricultural services.

Loan Proposal

With the above loan, I intend to use it solely for the purpose of marketing in other regions within our country. I currently operate in four regions, ie Nairobi, Kitengela, Kiambu and Thika. In this season I want to penetrate machakos, embu and kajiado areas. In order to enable good results I will use the funds to recruit 2 marketers at the rate of $20 I will also use the funds to print 100pcs brochure to be used during the marketing session at the rate of $50 and lastly I will use the funds for an open day to showcase our product for sampling and testing at a cost of $50.
This marketing plan will sensitize and create awareness about the product and its benefits which will promote our organization. It will also increase our profit margins because more people will start using our product. I will also make sales from the customers. We target to sell 150 sacks on the open day which will generate $1500

Currently the production machine has broke down one month ago. The technicians have been on board to repair it. But seemingly it requires to be adjusted all round. As a result there has been no sales and all the savings are going towards the repairs to enable us go back to production.

I am glad to say that I manage to buy the charcoal dryer with the loan I collected. I am now able to cater for the customer demand because the charcoal is drying faster and hence I am not encountering a back log. Thank you lenders for your continued support

    Hi Joell and Anna,
Thank you so much for your support in this venture. I received the loan. I purchased additional chicken waste and sugar baggase from the farmers. This in turn has increased my production and hence I will be able to meet the demand for the orders made for February 2015.
    Kind regards
