About Me

My name is senni enock kiss. Born in Simiyu region, I am 25 years old. I am the third child in a family of five children. in my family I am the only child who was lucky enough to get a Teaching Diploma in Butimba Teaching College. When I was 15 years old, I really liked doing seafood business because there was a seafood problem in our village, I collaborated with my mother to sell seafood in the street to earn income for the family. In 2016, I joined the butimba teacher training college, my passion to trade aquatic products (seafood and shrimp) became more and more intense in my mind, I explained to my parents but they did not cooperate because of the income.

My Business

I used the health insurance money as capital that we returned to the college after the college failed to provide us with insurance cards. At the end of the first semester, I found a friend who connected me with people who sell seafood, so I used to send them money and send me a load (seafood). I started looking for customers in markets in the Kilimanjaro region, I managed to sell them, but when the holidays ended I had to go back to college to continue my studies. However, I developed clients that I was able to serve through my mother, she sold seafood that I used to send to her while I continued my studies. In 2020, I graduated with my teaching degree, so I started with a lot of energy to find customers for seafood and shrimp, I started going to the islands to prepare the load and use my customers, some of whom I found through social networks. I have three years of experience in this seafood and shrimp business, I have opened a small office to make it easier for customers to get services nearby and thus save them the hassle of traveling to the city. Customers enjoy the service because they get good seafood that does not have negative effects on their health. I have many clients on Instagram and Whatsapp, they help me earn an income to support my family (father, mother, and my younger siblings). Also, this small profit helps me provide clothes, fruit and soap services to people with special needs. My current way of reaching customers is through social media. per month I travel 3 times to the islands to prepare the load, so it costs me a lot of time not to be in the office. I need to expand the office and provide work space to my community so that I have a good time to prepare the load on time. In the process of expanding the office, I need two and a half hundred thousand shillings for the purchase of goods, to pay for the cave and to support the support of those who will be selling in the office.

Project Proposal

Your loan will enable you to buy sacks of seafood and improve the life of the assistant who will be selling in the office. also every weekend, the little profit that will be available, I will provide social services such as soap, oil and food for special groups. Thank you for your loan that will improve the life of the community and my family. Thank you very much.
