I am happily married and blessed with 2 children hence I reside in Githurai Progressive. All of my children are in secondary school within the local community. I am married to a pastor in a local church. I started boutique business in 2013 so that I can also generate income and support my husband in day to day meeting expenses. Profit from my business is used to keep contribute to family expenses while the rest I use for savings so that I can expand my business. My pastor is incharge of a local church with a congregation of approximately 500 people and God has been so faithfully because the church is expanding and also my business is doing good.
My boutique business is based in Githurai and it was started in 2013 whereby it involves purchasing fabric from Uganda and Congo then sale them in Kenya and this is because materials from the two countries are of good quality. I have hired a young lady who usually run the business as I have part time job of singing in events thus sometimes I am extremely busy with the singing. Customers like my business because of good quality and we are always trusted. The young lady has also adequate skills of business management and customer care thus facilitating growth of my business in a short time but now I also want to introduce different fabric from Mombasa and so that my customers can have a variety to choose from.
My business is boutique and it involves selling different fabrics to women hence it has been doing great thus I intend to stock more materials from different parts of east africa. With the loan I intend to purchase farbric from Mombasa worth Kshs 5800, from Congo worth Kshs 6200 and from Uganda worth Kshs 6300. I will also utilize the various church gathering to sale my products so that the turnover is high thus generating a lot of revenue.
