About Me

I am blessed with two children who are both in local school within my community. I am employed at Kenyatta University in maintenance department.

I started wholesale business which is based in Kahawa Wendani. My business involves selling food stuff and household items at wholesale price. I have employed 2 people who are involved in the running of business but every afternoon I spend time at my busy business because I usually work in morning hour shift at my place of work. Also over the weekend I spend at my business.

I have been saving with the plans of stocking all the basic household items and also to purchase in big bulk so that I can enjoy trade discount.

My Business

My business is based in Kahawa Wendani and I started in 2010 as a small shop only retailing but through dedication from my employees and good customer care skills my business has grown to wholesale whereby I small shops in the community purchase some of their items from my shop. Currently I have limited varieties but I intend to stock all the basic household items so that most of the shops within the local community and neighbouring community can purchase their products then resale. I also intend to hire a third employee to assist in delivery of the purchase items as this will reduce cost on my clients but also increase client base because customers like being offered friendly services.

Loan Proposal

Am grateful to the zidisha lenders for contributing towards my loan thus I managed to use effectively as stated thus meeting my customers needs and also increase my monthly sales and customer base and now I intend to purchase more items in big quantity so as to enjoy trade discount. I have savings from my salary and business but not enough thus I request for another loan from Zidisha thus I will purchase cooking oil at Kshs 11500, maize flour at Kshs 14800, Sugar at Kshs 15000, rice at Kshs 12000, salt at Kshs 5000, match box at Kshs 5000. The new stock will meet my customers demand and I will not exert more pressure on the business but will use my salary as currently the children are on holiday thus am not paying school fees for this month. Kindly consider contributing towards my business and I will keep you updated on the progress and also pay the loan installment in time. Thanks
