About Me

I am blessed with two children who are both in local school within my community. I am employed at Kenyatta University in maintenance department.

I started wholesale business which is based in Kahawa Wendani. My business involves selling food stuff and household items at wholesale price. I have employed 2 people who are involved in the running of business but every afternoon I spend time at my busy business because I usually work in morning hour shift at my place of work. Also over the weekend I spend at my business.

I have been saving with the plans of stocking all the basic household items and also to purchase in big bulk so that I can enjoy trade discount.

My Business

My business is based in Kahawa Wendani and I started in 2010 as a small shop only retailing but through dedication from my employees and good customer care skills my business has grown to wholesale whereby I small shops in the community purchase some of their items from my shop. Currently I have limited varieties but I intend to stock all the basic household items so that most of the shops within the local community and neighbouring community can purchase their products then resale. I also intend to hire a third employee to assist in delivery of the purchase items as this will reduce cost on my clients but also increase client base because customers like being offered friendly services.

Loan Proposal

My business involves whole selling household commodities to small business who then retail to the local residents but due to limited capital I have been lossing business because I dont stock most of the basic commodies thus am happy to join zidisha because I will be in position to access loan then stock most of the basic commodities over time hence ensuring all my retailers access the basic commodities thus with this first loan I intend to purchase match box for lighting worth Kshs 5400 and toilet papers worthy Kshs 7000. This will boost my stock hence retailers will have access to the products and the turn over for my business will increase. I will use part of my salary to pay the loan as I want my business to grow.

Thanks for considering to contributing towards my business which is a fast growing business and this industry is very profitable because on daily basis local residence have to eat.
