About Me

My name is Aloyce. I am a Christian, a Sunday School teacher at my local church. I am married with one son. I am a freelance writer, I make the bulk of my living off this. I am also a farmer, rearing game birds (quails) for egg production. I am a graduate in with Bsc. Environmental Sciences. I have recently started a handmade jewelry business. This involves making handmade jewelry from recycled paper. I started this project because I am passionate about environmental conservation and would love to train young people, mainly from my church to produce and sell these ornaments while conserving the environment.

My Business

I am a freelance writer, making about $300 a month from writing. My birds are yet to start laying, but I project to make about $400 per month from this venture. I have done research on home made jewelry and established that I will be able to make about $500 a month selling my jewelry to friends both online as well as offline. From these ventures, I will comfortably service my loan, grow the business and help several youngsters earn a living. I will use the loan to acquire materials that will go into production of these homemade jewelry. In addition, I want to use the funds from this loan to market my products through a blog that I am in the process of developing. In the long term, I am hopeful that I will be able to export hand made jewelry as well as other craftworks to clients throughout the world.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to acquire materials for my project. These include used newspapers and magazines, rings, coloring materials, glue, vanish. I will also use part of the money to carter for transport from my place to the nearest city (Nairobi) to sell my product to ornamental shops.

My product is environmentally friendly and as such will immensely contribute to a cleaner environment. Since my production will go up, I intend to expand my business and hire a couple of youth to help with the work. I will hire and train a couple of unemployed youths and help them earn a living from making ornamental products from recycled paper. My long term goal is to have an ornamental shop that will export handmade jewelry to clients all over the world while creating employment to jobless youths.

I am thus appealing for willing lenders to help me realize this dream.

Thank you all

      Hi Wilson,
Thanks for the follow-up. Was away in the countryside over some family commitments. However, am working on clearing the 3 outstanding repayments, and the entire loan as soon as I can.
      Thanks

I have been supplying my beads to shops, but they are delaying in releasing my pay. As I seek alternative ways to honor up my loan, I wish to reschedule my payment to Ksh.250 per week with hopes that I will adjust this figure upwards as the returns begin coming in.

In addition, I just recieved a huge export order for my products, and this might take slightly longer to produce the required number of necklaces. As such, this has taken in much of my money.

I did supply the beads to a client who promised to pay after 2 weeks. Thus, I am unable to service my loan this week. I am therefore rescheduling to pay my loan in an amount of Ksh.750 per week till I complete it. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience passed on to my honorable lenders.
