About Me

I was brought up in Thegenge village in Nyeri county. life was not easy since the parents didn't have stable income. They struggled to raise school fees for my primary school education. I was lucky to join High school and with bursary aid I completed my o levels. I had to get casual jobs to raise money for my accountancy certificate course. afterwards I was employed by Equity bank as an accountant where I worked for 5 years. My love for business pushed me to start a cosmetics shop which later changed to a salon. The salon closed due to covid 19 effects. I relocated to Chuka in Tharaka Nithi County and started smokies vending business. I am happy it is growing and trust that with zidisha as partner I will continue to grow.

My Business

I operate a smokies vending business at ndagani market next to Chuka University in Tharaka Nithi university. I started the business in year 2021 after my salon business closed after Covid 19 effects. It is very promisingdue to the ready market. I started with one packet but now doung over 4 packets a day. It is my wish to add value like do smochas to increase the uptake and eventually grow to a big restraunt offering variety on the menu.

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders, I apply for my third loan of ksh 40,472 (Us Dollars 466) which I plan to purchase more stock of assorted imported hair weaves. Approximated stock of ksh 35,400 ( us Dollars408) of hair weaves for my beauty shop. These weaves are on demand therefore giving an opportunity for ready business. I will use part of the funds ksh 5,000 (Us Dollars58) towards marketing brochures highlighting the above said products. This will go along towards my goal to be the leading distributor of beauty products in the region. Investment in extensive marketing and availability of stock varieties will increase sales turnover and bring more retail outlets on board translating to rise in profits. I will re- invest back the profits into the business and grow the shop into big enterprise. I also have planned to set aside a portion of the profits towards my project of buying a plot to build my house so that with the accomplishment of the project I can use the the money I pay house rent to boost and grow the business. I therefore appeal to you to kindly support me raise the funds for this venture. Thank you, Samuel Ndiritu
