About Me

my name is Gaye Mwelwa. I am 34 years old. i am married and have 3 children, all girls. I live in kitwe on the copperbelt province of Zambia. I run a small grocery shop which I would one day like to see grow into something big. I am grateful to be part of this team.

My Business

I run a small grocery shop near my home. it has assorted items needed for daily household necessities like salt, cooking oil, juice etc. I also have bread and snacks for the kids. drinks are the major contributor to my profits.

Loan Proposal

I want to purchase the fast moving off the counter medications as I intend to grow my shop into a big pharmacy in my area. The available pharmacy is miles away and my new venture is proving better than running a grocery which gave me many challenges during this Corona season.

Income Source

The moving drugs right now are drugs being rumored to lessen the risk of getting Covid. Hand sanitizers, bleach, face masks, vitamin c, and so on are proving to be very profitable.
