About Me

I am john edward kwarteng,29 years old and I started my primary education at SEA school where I also furthered my junior high education.after completing school I left home and went to live with myuncle because of financial problem and hardships my family were facing since mydad lost his job as a driver.i like the Ashanti culture because of their twi language which is mostly spoken among the other local tribe mother tongue s.I have great interest in football because it involves all the body parts and also a source of good exercise.

My Business

My business I am doing as a living is cassava cultivation because my local community is a farming area.my uncle i stayed with is a farmer, so he trained me and also acquired my farming land for me.I grow and produce the cassava where by customers come to buy and use them in gari processing.I want to invest in this business to enable me employ people to assist me and to produce the cassava on a large scale.I believe with zidisha I can achieve this goal

Loan Proposal

I hereby write to apply for a loan to purchase some heap of poultry manure from a poultry farm within my locality to apply on my cassava farms. Looking at the size of my farm lands I will cost me a lot of money in buying NPK fertilizers than applying manure to increase the nutritive value to increase plant yield. I therefore need this loan to help me buy some heaps of poultry manure to apply to my cassava farms

I bought some weedicides and pesticides that I applied to my cassava crops but because of the recent high rainfall it washed away the chemicals and didn't effectively work.because of the situation at hand my cassava farm condition is very bad. A colleague farmer has given me some powdered weedicide on high purchase that I have just started to apply

I need to reduce payment because the heap of manure I have bought with this loan I applied for was inadequate for my land size so I have bought another heap of manure which has been deposited on my farmland.I will also need to hire a labourer to aid me apply the manure on my cassava farm.I need to reduce my current loan repayment in other to make room for the manure I just purchased over the weekend

My recent loan I took enabled me to hire manual labourers who helped me to cultivate my cassava stem cuttings due to the size of the farming land.this prevented me form incurring loss if the stem cuttings had gotten spoilt by been infected by pest if I didn't grow them.I am grateful to Zidisha for playing this vital role.
