About Me

My name is Justus Kaiba Kahiga.I was born on 14th of February 1991 in Baringo county Kenya.i have been through a lot of hardships in life so far,i lost both of my parents when i was seven years old, this forced me to live with my grandparents in Nakuru.I have to say thanks to God for giving me an intelligent mind and hardworking attitude since i excelled in my academics and went up to to university through government sponsored program ,i went to Pwani university to be precise.During my life in campus life was hard since i didnt have enough money to sustain my life in campus i decided to start a small photocopy and printing shop through use of my HELB loan. The business has been doing pretty ok and have been able to complete my studies.I graduated on 24th of September 2015.At the moment am thinking of expanding my small business now that i have completed my studies since finding a job is difficult in our country at the moment.I have to think how i can create a self sustaining job for myself as well as for the future of this nation. My unique hobby is that i like participating in youth awareness programs, where i like to inspire youths to be responsible and productive citizens of this country so as they can avoid drug abuse and live a life they can be happy about.

My Business

Dear Lenders,My business area is involved in offering photocopying and printing services in Nakuru town.My business area is strategically located near Egerton university Nakuru campus where i target students to print their academic papers, term papers ,as well as research projects and proposals.Due to its proximity to learning institutions, the demand has been favorable for this services especially when the students are in session progressing with their studies.I chose this kind of business since the startup capital was just small.I started with approximately 29000 KES with a single laptop and 3 in 1 printer with ability to print, photocopy as well as perform scanning functions. My cost mainly i photocopy papers, printing papers, cartridges, electricity cost and renting a room this comes to an average of 5000 KES in a month. In a good month i can make a revenue of 13000 KES while when business is low i can make a revenue of 10000 KES . I normally invest back to the business profits with an intention to expand as well as meeting my personal expenses. In case of i get the loan i want to add some of my savings and buy a new modern printing and photocopying machine in order to promote efficiency of my business. This projection is expected to increase revenue by around 20%.Thanks in advance,I look forward to a positive response.

Loan Proposal

I plan to use the loan in buying a new printing machine for my cyber cafe. This machine will cost me 95 Dollars to be precise. This will improve efficiency for my new business by high margin since it consumes less power than the one i have at the moment. It will also use less ink cartridges .This equipment therefore will help in reduction of cost of doing business by a projection of about 30%. According to my projection this new machine will increase revenue by about 20%. This will create more satisfaction to my customers in that it will produce more quality output than the current printing machine.
