About Me

My name is Malilo. I am a farmer of Lusaka's Makeni area. I am married to Michael and we have three children.

My Business

My husband and I own a 15 acre farm in Makeni area. We plant various types of vegetables which we sell at our market stall located in Lilayi area. Some of the crops that we plant are tomatoes, okra and green beans.

Loan Proposal

I plan to use the loan to purchase a 5,000l plastic water tank and sprinklers for use in my vegetable field.

My crops are close to harvest and the installation of the water system at the farm would help in ensuring that the crops grow well.

I plan to sell crops at my stall located at Lilayi market.

Income Source

The demand for vegetables is very high, as people begin to understand the benefits of eating healthy and nutritious foods. As a result of this awareness, my business is doing well.
