Am studying business administration at lit college in limuru and i love beauty so much i own a small saloon at limuru town and the funny thing is i began this saloon with my pocket money i believe in savings and when i was in first year i started saving small amounts for clothes then after i asked my self, what if i save and start a business? i wouldn't have to keep borrowing money from my parents so while in second year i set my new years resolution to be to save 50 thousand ksh for start up of a salon and last year is when i managed to get the target amount and without thinking twice i began my saloon,
I go to class for two hours in the morning and at ten i open my saloon and this is how i manage my life surpport my familly and basic needs
My lovely business is a small saloon operating from 10 am to 7 pm in the evening at limuru stage ,i offer manicure, pedicure, hairdressing.foot massage, braiding ,lipstick application and generally all it takes to be beautiful.
I sell waives and naturally hair along side cosmetics,i chose this business out of love and passion.
I began training as a saloonist after i finished primary school and while in high school i used to help my friends with making their hair.
My cost are basically stock of cosmetics which i give it a capital of 400 us d and my service fee varies from hairdressing to blow dry and many different kind of service as per the customers need.
i make almost 15 USD a day (90 ksh per USD) and use it to reinvest in my saloon and basic needs alongside helping my family.
granted 21024 kes i will use it to buy a new dryer machne formy saloon.
this will expand my bussiness and i will be able to serve more custormers and m,ake more profits.
I will buy a hair dryer at 120 usd other saloon reguirements and stock of things like hair, shampoo soap, towels fair and lovely hair food. I will divide the remaining 100 usd to be enough to cater for the stock.
