About Me

I was born in Nairobi, Kawangware estate Nairobi county 24 years ago. I grew up with a bigger vision, a bigger mind, a dream to become a banker. But what actualy came in between this wonderfull dream???
I started my primary education and eventually completed class eight with a certificate in Kenya primary education. In 2007 i joined a local secondary school where i begun to explore all the subjects as well as putting more efforts in mathematics and business studies so as to be a stepping stone to my dream.
In 2010, i completed my secondary education and passed with a credit of B+ but I could not join university due to financial constraints.
In 2011, I was employed on a boda boda where i started saving. I used part of the savings to enroll for computer class where i enrolled on an evening class after working during the day.
In February 2014, I bought a computer and a printer using the remaining savings from the boda boda business and started a cyber cafe.
In the cyber cafe, I deal with typing, printing, photocopying, scanning and internet browsing.
The first one and half years I encountered a lot of challenges to a point where I was about to give up but i continued to press on and eventually i caught up.
Having gained the ground, I may say my cyber cafe is doing good.

My Business

As i had mentioned already from my profile, I am currently operating a cyber cafe.
Where i stay consists of college where students normally come to my cyber cafe to photocopy handouts, typing, printing assignments, browsing and doing online research.
The people surrounding also come to make photocopies of their IDs,title deeds, making business cards, typing, printing their curriculum vitae, and browsing the internet.
My current business is worth KES 70,000 and so far I make a profit of KES 1,500 after incurring costs such as purchasing steeple pins, printing papers, credit for internet and printer ink.Am anticipating that these will grow up to at least KES 2,800 daily.
I intend to use half of the profit to reinvest back to the business by purchasing a server Pc.The other half of the profit i intend to use it for my college fees for a diploma in banking and finance which i already enroled on a part time basis.

Loan Proposal

Due to the emerging trends and use of mobile phones to take pictures, this has created the need and demand for a photo printer for my cyber cafe so as to enable the customers to print there photos that are stored on soft copy in their memory cards.I am thus planning to purchase an additional computer and more importantly a photo printer for my cyber cafe so as to address these need of the customers and I also see it as a gap which if addressed will lead to an increase of my daily profit base and will provide an avenue for me to convert my cyber cafe to a one stop shop thus saving time and money for my customers on the need of traveling to other places to look for the services.

Secondly I am planning to purchase an additional computer so as to address the increase in the number of the customers and the need to access the internet so as to access information about various aspects in regard to the needs of the clients. The additional computer will reduce client queues and promote ease of accessibility to information.
I thus project that this will increase my current daily profit from $ 13 to $15 thus translating it to $ 105 dollars in a week and will also increase business assets fom $500 to about $750.

    Dear Lenders,
    It has never been easy!
My apologies for the delayed weekly repayments.I guaranteed a Sacco loan for a group which defaulted in their monthly repayments and as such, They came after me for the repayments and threatened to auction my assets. I am currently at the tail end and therefore, I will resume servicing this loan as from 1st Oct 2022.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Regards,
    Patrick.

Dear lenders, thank you so much for your financial support, As I write today, I am delighted to let you know that I was able to purchase an additional computer and a photo printer and as such,am able to print pictures from memory cards. My profit also grew to about 2500 shillings daily, this made me able to pay for my school fees for college and also made the repayment of the loan a success though at some point my loan went to arreas due to breakdown of the machines and also me falling sick. All in all my business is currently sound and good. Thank you so much once again lenders.
