About Me

My name is Henry Tembo. I live in Sinazongwe district. I am married with two children.

I stay on my parents farm which is located along the shores of Lake Kariba. The farm is big and I have built my own house where I stay with my family.

My Business

We are a family of fishermen and women. Both my parents are experienced at catching fish from the lake using fishing nets.

However, I have recently introduced a new technology on the farm - cage fishing. Cage fishing involves growing fish in cages on the lake.

I have two cages and I have stocked 10,000 fingerlings in each cage.

My business is doing doing well. I sell the the fish to fish traders in the big towns.

The type of fish species which I grow is Nile Tilapia

Loan Proposal

I plan to use the loan to purchase Bags of Fish Feed.

I have already stocked my fish cage with 5000 fingerlings and I have also bought some fish feed. However, the feed is not enough and so I am requesting for a loan to purchase the fish feed that I require for the fish to grow over a period of six months.

Income Source

I will use the profits from selling some of the fish in the other cages to repay the weekly instalments.
