About Me

I am Linda Owusu Takyiwaa from Berekum and live in Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I am a lady of 34 years old, fair in complexion and about 4.5 feet tall. I had my basic school education at Voice of Deliverance Primary and JHS. I continued from there to Mfantsiman Girls’ Senior High School and completed in the year 2006. I went on to pursue degree in education at the Valley View University. I am currently single and a business woman as well. My hobbies are reading story books and watching soccer whenever I am less busy.

My Business

I am a business woman who deals in plastics containers as well as kitchen equipment such as cooking utensils storage bowls, plates, cups, cutlery sets etc. I have been into this business for the past twelve (12) years and it is very lucrative. I opted for this business due to the high demand for it; one cannot live without these basic necessity. You definitely need it in the house for your cooking and serving of meal, many of the people also use these plastic containers to store water for house use.
Furthermore, I have been supplying cutlery sets and plates to most of the schools in my vicinity. This includes the Basic schools, Senior High School and the Tertiary as well and because there are numerous schools here, business is always at its peak. I have employed two store attendants who always assist me at the shop.

Repayment of loan
I earn greatly from this business and I am going to pay back my loan from the profit I acquire from the sale of my products. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

I want to say a very big thank you to all the lenders that funded my loan. I want to commend your patience even through the strike of the pandemic. May the almighty richly bless you. I look forward to you finding my current loan. Thank you. This loan when funded would be used to purchase cutlery sets, plates and household items such as plastic basins, knives, cooking utensils, plastic products for my shop. This business is very lucrative and has been the source of all my loan repayments since I joined Zidisha in the year 2015. I would use same means and process to repay my loan.

Income Source

I earn greatly from this business, I have been the supplier of cutlery sets and plates to the 4 Senior high Schools in my community. I also sell my household items to groups and individuals in my community. The institutions pay me my money for my supplies quarterly when I supply them with the goods. Most people in my community buy from me as I've been in the business for so many years now and the quality of what I sell attracts my customer. My customers service is also on point making everyone enjoys buying from me. Even though the world is facing a big economic climate, households still needs to function therefore my business still being relevant.

Linda is a very serious borrower. She makes regular repayments and increases her repayments, if she can, to repay early. It's a pleasure to lend to her.
I'll continue to support her next project.
