My names are Simon Wanjohi Nai, a Kenyan by birth, aged 32 years old and married with two children . I started my school in the year 1989 and studied till college level and finished in the year 2005 where I got a Certificate in Procurement at Nairobi Polytechnic, after my studies I got a promising job at Sher Karuturi farm in Naivasha- South Lake road where I was posted as the farm procurement officer, I gained a lot of field and farm skills and after a period of time, the farm faced financial problems and it was later sold to new mangers and they started violating workers rights, and I quitted and started my farming business which is promising today in the Kenyan market ....

My Business

I decided to start my own farm business after working as procurement officer, I was able to raise enough capital to start a business of selling poultry and green house farming.. I started green house farming and I have been in this business for a period of two years, before starting poultry. I would say that my business is doing well and through it am able to feed and cater for my family and pay my two employees for all of their basic goods and services. In a month I make a profit of Ksh 50,000 that is before paying wages and after deducting salary am left with about ksh 30,000 a month.

i appreciate very much to all palying part in zidisha, if funded for i will be able to purchase more chicks and with time they will mature and start Laying eggs .A tray of eggs of 30 eggs is trading at $ 8 on wholesale price, since i started this business i have been having many clients demanding on eggs and thats makes it a profitable business.

    I was able to add my poultry stock worth 300 dollars which was doing very well . Later i got an accident that i was unable to run my business again . By then I used to do very well in terms of cash flow in the business . I am still strong after recovering well and now doing a tax work with a motorbe that is my brother's . Atleast it has started giving me some income and I feel if well supported I can atleast be able to buy mine.

    My business went down to a point of closure since I have not been feeling well. I was able to buy so items in my farm worth 300 dollars. Things never worked very well for me but am trusting God for a new beginning. However I now have a morbike that am using as a tax to try earn a leaving I will appreciate if given another chance for loan funding . Thank you so much my lenders . Despite the fact that I didn't do much by then I am anticipating for greater Things ahead. Once again Thank you

    I purchase the items that I had said at 300 dollars . Later things did not work very well for me but I have tried to catch up with life. My business went down to a point of closure but now I have a motorbike that I want to buy from my friend who gave helped me with and I have been using it as a tax to help me earn a leaving
