About Me

Hello. My name is Mercy Lembama. I am a nurse by profession and I am also engaged in a business of growing vegetables at my small holding in Choma.

I am married to Bwalya and we have two children, a boy and a girl.

My Business

I was invited to join Zidisha through a friend who is also a farmer based in Lusaka.

At my small holding I plant various types of crops, such as green beans and tomatoes.

I sell the vegetables to supermarkets and shops in my area.

Loan Proposal

I plan to use the loan to purchase vegetable seedlings.

Some of the vegetables that I plan to purchase include tomato and green beans.

I enjoy planting these two vegetables because they are popular in our area and the prices are good.

Income Source

My business is doing well and this morning I managed to sell all my vegetables to a local businesswoman who lives in our area.

I am so happy and so grateful to my wonderful lenders and my family for the support that they have rendered to me.
