About Me

am steward musonda and am aged 32. I have two brothers and one sister. I dropped out of school in grade 7 as i could not manage to be in school. My parents died when we were very young and we all went to stay with my grandmother. Life was tough when very young, we could have only one meal per day. I worked for a white man's farm where i learnt a number of skills general skills at a farm. I am married now with one child and am working hard so that my child doesnt go through the same life i went through. My child would like to become a medical doctor when she grows up. In my free time i like cleaning in my community because literacy levels in my community are very low so i help out to bring some cleaniliness to avoid outbreak of diseases.

My Business

I do farming fulltime and my wife is selling some groceries in a shop at the market. I am very hardworking and i started this business after learning some skills from my boss who was whiteman. i plant and sell maize, soya beans, sunflower and many others. This foods are on demand i usually have people who come direct to buy from the farm. The profits i make i reinvest in my business because my target is to make it grow everyday, other profit i reserve for my daughter who is in primary school. The cost i face normaaly is fertilisers and payments for hired labour because i need helping hands in every stage at my farm. Otherwise this business is good and promising.

Project Proposal

I want to honestly thank all my lenders for your tremendous support for my farming business. I will now apply for another loan to help me buy pesticides for spraying on my plants against pests. By this am sure i will not make any loss for my crops and will be able to make some profit. I am into farming business and so far its going well. I grow tomatoes, maize and onion for sale and i have a number of customers who come to buy direct at the farm. when i have fertiliser i will be able to harvest more and a better crop to attract customers to buy and the profit i will make from the sales of my plants i want to reinvest in my business so that i can help the business grow. I am confident with Zidisha i will be able to make it.
