About Me

Jonathan Odoi is my name. A resident of Teshie, a suburb of Accra. I am a teacher by profession and an artist by hobby. I love to paint and teach. I have a beautiful family, four children and my wife. I love my family very much.I strongly believe that it's the family that holds and keeps the society together, in that the society is one big family.

I currently teach ICT and creative acts in a preparatory school in my locality. To me teaching and helping children to achieve and attain their fullest potential is my calling. It goes beyond just explaining concepts and solving Mathematics. Teaching requires the teacher to know and understand the student as an individual. I believe every child is special and should be treated as such. I spend my time after work helping the children in my neighbourhood with their home work. This gave me the idea to start a tutoring agency. I currently run my tutoring agency from my home office. Tutoring sessions are held in the homes of the children I tutor.

My Business

I love to teach and paint. My love for teaching and helping children finds me helping the children in my neigbourhood with their home work. This gave me the idea to start a tutoring service, where I tutor these children at a small fee. I currently run my tutoring service from my home office.

Tutoring sessions are held in the homes of the children I tutor. Slowly I have gained a reputation as a dutiful tutor who leaves no stone unturned to get a student to understand a concept.

I want to grow this business and eventually move into a proper office with front desk and a teaching and learning space for ten students. I believe knowledge is not power, but the application of the knowledge acquired to a good cause is power.

Loan Proposal

If my loan proposal is approved and funded it will help me to procure a printer and stationary for my home office. A printer will enable me to print out my various forms and study guides for the business. I usually print from the printing shops in my locality and it is very expensive and not cost effective.

I want to grow this business to the point where I can move out into a proper office with learning and teaching space for ten people. With your help I would make this a reality. Thank you.
