hello, my name is samuel, I practice mix farming. I have an orchard , a poultry, and a dog breeding bussiness which I am trying to upgrade to a world class standard. The cost is enormous and financiers are few. with the help of Zidisha, I am gradually moving to achieve my goal.

My Business

This bussiness is capital intensive and the banks are not willing to fund start up like us. hence my major source of finance is personal savings, reinvestment of profit and private lenders like Zidisha.

Project Proposal

when raised, the loan will be used to purchase a 450 capacity egg hatching machine which will enable me to have qualitative day old chic at a lower rate compared to what i will buy at commercial sellers. moreover, the period between September to November of each year, there is shortage or scarcity of day old chicks due to farmers booking for the festival period of Christmas, new year and the Muslim eid festival.

With this i will be able to kill two birds with one stone as the English people say. Firstly i will be able to sell at a competitive rate and the scarcity of day old chicks will not affect me.
