About Me

I am a married Kenyan with two children. My home county is Siaya,Siaya District,North Gem division,Maliera sub location, Am a teacher by profession. I started my primary education at Usingo primary school and did my KCPE in 1987 and attained 425 marks out of 700 marks i then joined Nyanganga secondary school and did my KCSE in the year 1992 and attained grade C+ (plus).I later ECDE college in the 2006 - 2007 and attained Certificate in ECDE. In 2009 - 2010 I did Diploma in ECDE from a government college. My hobby is interacting with needy children in the community to be able to assist them where i can

My Business

I currently run a small community school with a population of 300 pupils.I will use the loan to construct two more toilets. I will pay back the loan with school fees collected from the parents.Members of the community prefer our school because of the basic quality education that we offer to the children compared to our competitors.I chose this kind of business to enable me earn income and most importantly improve the life of future generation by providing quality and accessible education to members of the community. My business is profitable since we offer services in exchange for money. My business faces the risk of some parents failure to pay school fees due to financial challenges that they encounter. My typical monthly income is currently USD 1700 and my monthly expenses is USD 1000. My current monthly net profit also is 700 USD. I always use my profit to buy more learning materials at school and to pay my bills at home which include educating my two children who are currently in university.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy textbooks for English and Mathematics for classes one, two, three and four. I will also add one desk per class from class one to class four. This is because after taking the first loan, the number of children increased beyond our current textbook child ratio from one to two to one four. When all these is achieved we anticipate to admit more pupils come next term leading to more income per month.

Hi zidisha, I will use this loan to put up a two door toilet structure at my school. This will help me catch up with the requirements as per the ministry of education. The children will also be comfortable because they will now have three toilets with would serve the population comfortably and they will no longer share their toilet with the staff. Hygiene will be observed. I therefore truly thank my lenders for having made sure the loan is fully funded. I promise to keep my on time payment at its best. God bless you.

I used the loan to construct playground for the learning children. Children can now play as they learn as you know children learn best through play . This made parent like my school for their children, increased admission that brought my monthly profit from 450 USD to 700 USD. I used this money to go purchase Mathematics and English text books for class one and class two which had shortage of textbooks due to increased enrollment in the school.

I used the last loan to repair playground for children in my school. This will make parents in the community have more confidence in my school. I therefore expect increase on admission come the month of May. I would like to reduce my weekly payment sto 500 until the school opens for next session since we are almost closing and most parents pay fees immediately school opens.

Hi Emma? Hope everything is going well at your school. Your weekly payments are $5.02 which is roughly 500. This means that you do not have to pay $30 every week like the last payment you made.

I used the last loan to renovate two toilets in the education premise. Before it used to be a very big blow to me but after the renovation. Children became more comfortable and our school worn interest of most of the residents around. It gave me a population boost in pupils
