About Me

I am a young ambitious IT professional in Nairobi-Kenya, with a Certificate in Computer studies from a local college. I opened a cyber café in Nairobi’s Umoja estate in August 2013 after finishing my studies since this has always been my dream to become a great entrepreneur. Over the years, the growth of the business has been encouraging and I am positive I will realize greater success, especially with the support I am getting from the Zidisha community. After my start-up, people from the neighborhood stopped commuting to town for the services.

My Business

My business offers internet services, computer services, photocopying, printing, scanning, lamination, Face book / Email account registration, KRA PIN registration and document binding to the general public. The business is good especially with the encouragement from the government to embrace ICT as a key factor to development. I chose this kind of business because on top of being an IT professional, I have the passion to venture into entrepreneurship and also contribute positively to the growth of the Kenyan economy.

Loan Proposal

Zidisha is the best thing that ever happened to me. With the previous funding, I was able to increase my revenue by 30% last month after adding an extra computer, a lamination and bidding machines in my cyber.
Kindly fund my second loan so that i can afford to buy a bigger capacity photocopier since the one i have currently is small and doesn't have the capacity to handle large volumes of copies. I have started getting orders from schools and churches meaning capacity to handle the ever increasing demand from my customers will increase my revenue double fold. Total cost of a photocopier is USD 390.
The business generates between USD10 - 15 per day and my expenses are minimal (rent USD60 per Month, and Electricity bill USD10 per month). On average, I make around USD250 - USD300 per month and I believe, with a little more capital, I can even make USD500 per month.
I will use some of the profits generated to service my loan and a small amount to meet my personal endeavors.

    Dear Lenders,
My concern is because am the one who Invited Tony Ireri after I saw ambition and hard work.
I paid a visit to Tony's business in Umoja Nairobi and its amazing. The flow of customers Adults walking in to browse internet, photocopy, printing, scanning, type setting, computer repairs, selling moves etc... and on the other hand Children were busy playing computer games. This shows the potential of his Cyber business.
I also noticed customers who bring work for printing and photocopy they were queuing because the small printer he is using is very slow. I was watching customers feeling uncomfortable with delay.
Am sorry I did not manage to take a photo together but I will do so next time when I visit him in a month’s time.
Tony is Trust worthy person and from the previous loan shows he paid it on time way before completion date.
Thank you in advance as you fund his loan and God bless you Lenders and Zidisha community.

    Kind Regards,
    Jeniffer Ireri

Dear esteemed lenders based on Tony's effort to follow up his reference contacts in arrears and his 100% on time repayment records I am kindly requesting you to support his loan application i would not hesitate to recommend him. I am optimistic that he will be funded before the time expires.

    Concerned,

    Hi Lenders,
I really appreciate your kind support you gave me the other time, actually i was able to buy lamination machine and binding machine. My business sales increased by 30% and now what is lacking is a reliable photocopier for my customers since have started getting orders from schools and churches. Total cost of a photocopier is USD 390.
Kindly fund my second loan this will be my turning point in my business.

Thank you Lenders & Zidisha family

    Kind Regards,
    Tony Ireri
