About Me

I am Beth Litunda living in Njoro Town. I have basic, secondary and tertiary education. I schooled in a very remote area but I thank God currently I live and work in town where there are many business opportunities. I hold a Diploma in Computer Studies. I love Computer Graphics Design and this is the field am venturing into and at least I enjoy it very much. With the emerging technology many people are now embracing technology. In life I have learnt a lesson that hard work and determination will always give good results. This is because while in school I was determined to pass my exams and worked hard and in the end this came my way. At the same time am venturing into business and I know hard work and determination will yield good results for me. My family really encourages me and I have decided to forge ahead and not to look back because I know when I plant, I will surely reap.

My Business

My business name is J & B Technologies situated at Njoro Posta near Njoro Police Station. Am surrounded by schools like St Lwanga, Njoro Boys who are often my customers. The J & B Technologies deals with typesetting, printing and photocopy services. Majorly we design receipt books, letterheads, printing educational materials like exams, book binding, lamination, and graphics design. We also sell stationery like envelopes, pens and notebooks. Our location is strategic because we have many customers who include students from Egerton University. Customers prefer my business because of the efficiency I have in providing services, discounts offered and punctuality of meeting deadlines. I am an early bird since I open very early such that those reporting to work by eight and have some documents done, can always come to my premises and get it done before 8.00am. There is good security because we are near the police station and I have a guard who watches over the premises at night when I am away. The profits I get from the business is used for my basic needs, pay my employee, house-help and there is a percentage that is ploughed back into the business so as to expand it slowly by slowly. Sometimes if the machines fail, there is no income. Currently I need to buy two more computers which will cost me Ksh. 30,000. I have some savings but which I need to get a loan to add to in order to raise this amount.

Loan Proposal

I would like to Purchase two more computers which I intend to increase the computers for efficiency of my work. This will enable my clients to have their work done effectively. I am requesting lenders to help me raise this amount because am stack at the moment because the machines I am using currently are low in speed, thus causing delays.

I wish to increase my installments to Ksh.100.00 each week so that i can at least clear the remaining balance. Otherwise I am sincerely sorry that I did not manage to pay in past, this is because I closed my business due to sickness and did not have any form of income that could have enabled me to pay my loan and clear it on time.

    Dear Lenders,
I am so pleased to let you know that the printer I purchased is working though having gone through many challenges here and there.
At least I am able to do printing of all colours.
My business experienced a challenge and that is why I am taking long to repay the loan but I believe to increase output. Business went low and I am looking for ways that I may diversify so that I can manage to clear the loan and apply for another one. Thank you for your kindness.
I take this opportunity to wish you all a merry Christmas a happy new year 2017

Thank you Zidisha Team for the loan, however, I am unable to repay my loan at the installment of Ksh. 200 every week. Kindly reschedule my payments to Ksh. 100. This is because my business has been low since the beginning of the year and I have had challenges in repaying. Thank you.

Hello lenders. I am happy to say that the loan I received has helped me in my business since i obtained a printer. However, business has been down and it has been a challenge for me to repay but i am trying my best. How i pray and hope that business will pick and be able to repay the loan in the shortest time possible.

    Thank you.

    Dear Zidisha Team,

Thank you for your patience in my loan repayment. It has been hectic and I believe and trust to complete repaying.

My concern is, I paid my installment of Ksh. 200 on 26th May, that is the amount which I was supposed top pay on 24th May. However it does not reflect in the payments done. My Mpesa Confirmation No. is JEQ7GBDQAV of Ksh.200 paid on 26th May at 8.43am Kenyan time for account No. 0720 351 250. Please update my account.

    Hallo Dear Lenders,
May I take this opportunity to thank all of you for lending me. I was able to buy The HP Laser Printer. It is a very nice printer which prints good quality images and text. My customers are now pleased with the quality of print out. However, I have been undergoing financial challenges in my family and business at the same time, but I am still pushing on to see that at least I get some money each week to repay my loan. Soon or later, I will diversify my business and believe that I will manage to repay my loan in full and apply for another one. May the Almighty God bless you all.

Thank you Zidisha team for the loan. However I wish to reduce my installment because I have been given a responsibility of paying school fees for a nice whose parents are facing financial challenge. As for now I can manage to pay KES 200 per week in order for me to be able to meet the school fees for my nice. currently business has been down as people concentrated on holiday, but I believe and trust God that as soon as they resume and business picks once again i will be able to go back to my original installment.

I received a mail that my loan application has expired, then I applied for another one of which I received the same mail again after I had received the one telling me that my loan application has been published. I am not understanding what is happening to my loan application. Please advise.

You obviously applied twice for the same loan. I guess you want to cancel one of them.
    Best wishes.

I actually intended to apply once. However i received a text that the application has expired, then I placed my application again, which said application has been published but to my surprise on checking the progress today, it says again the Loan application has expired. What should I do because i need the loan?
      Thank you.

I wish to increase my installment because the business has picked and I can now manage to repay Sh. 1000 every week. At the same time I have found a resident house help whom am paying a little bit lower compared to the daycare fee which was too high for me. I really appreciate the fact that I am now able to reschedule my installment and I believe will manage to repay the loan in a shorter period than I am repaying currently.

Thank you for the Zidisha loan for purchase of a digital camera. I am now able to take passport size photos and print them from my premises. I also look forward for more business using the camera where I will take passport photos to make staff identity cards, students identity cards and many more.

Kindly allow me to reschedule my loan repayment since i am experiencing finance constrains. This is because i have an extra cost to meet per week since I have to take my child to a day care school and I am required to pay more than I have been spending every week. My house help left and I have no alternative on how to take care of the child other than taking her to a day care school where I am required to pay on a daily basis. Thank you.
