About Me

I have had many forms of education but the best education I have enjoyed is my apprenticeship as a goldsmith. I was under apprenticeship for five years and I gained vast knowledge and experience in the craft of jewellery making. In my years of studying I made it a point to save an amount of 5 GHS each day for every month to help me buy most of the tools I could afford. Once I was done with the apprenticeship,I had enough tools to start a small jewellery shop in my neighborhood. I live with my parents and four siblings. I think it's time to move out, to be responsible for myself. I have lived with my parents my entire life and I welcome this new chapter with a lot of excitement.

My Business

My area of business is goldsmithing and jewellery making. I chose this area of business because people of the past and this present day like to accessorize and adorn their bodies with jewellery.
In making a single piece of jewellery, lets say an engagement ring in gold,I spend 200 GHS on the purchase of the needed materials. When the work is complete,I sell the ring for 300 GHS making a profit of 100 GHS which I save at the bank and reinvest in making another piece of work when the need arises.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to purchase raw silver at a cost of 25 Dollars per bar.
I will use the silver for a variety of jewellery such as necklaces, ear rings, cufflinks, rings etc for both male and female.
At the sale of a piece of jewellery, such as a necklace,I will make a profit of 10 to 15 Dollars.
