I had my Junior high school at shiloh International at Ampabame suburb of Kumasi in Ashanti region, from there I went to Effiduase senior high school, even though I was a brilliant student, I did not get support to reach my dreams in education as I planned to. But I know all is not over for me because I hope to go back to the classroom to continue my education. It by support of people who see the good in me that I am surviving now. I started working on commission basis with some natural health clinic in which I have manage to get myself a mobile money sim card that I am working operating now to gather money to help me to go back to school
sales of Provisions in a container shop around my house.
we live in a new developing site where people in the surroundings move far to buy provisions for their consumption, hence I the decision to sell these items.
It cost me about USD 600 to add a new items to my stock and I expect to get a revenue of USD 650.
I use the profit to reinvest and pay my bills.
I am planning to increase my stock since some of the items are highly in demand at the community, especially bottled water and rice, because the source of water available is not portable for consumption .I want to go into this business because of its ready market.
I want to invest with about GHC 5,000 I can start this business and I hope to get not less than GHC 500 as a profit a week.
And with this profit I hope to re-invest in the shop and will call for more hands to work and this will create job for those I will be working with, to enable them to also cater for their family.
I expect this to increase my profit to about 30%.
A survey that I conducted before the establishment of this setup was critically and carefully done in other to take care of any future eventuality.
Also I am going to make sure to sell my goods with small or little margin to let my customers feel they have value for money and not cheated to keep my customers all the time.
Furthermore, I have also identified other small shops that are potential clients that I can also supply and the Covid-19 has call for the need, for people to be indoors and do not go outing when it is not necessary and I need to serve the people in my community well to keep them home.
