My name is Steven Chilambo and I have grown up in Ndeke area in Kitwe. i did my primary education at miseshi primary school then finished my secondary education at chamboli education. I later studied a diploma in IT and due to lack of jobs i have started my own business, I sell electronic items and the capital I used came from some repairs i did on computers for a certain company.
I am a qualified IT Technician and I do contract jobs from time to time , repairing computers for some individuals. Because of uncertainity in the job market this is the reason why I started a an electronic business. I sell phones, tablets and computers and I also do repairs on the same. I just rent the shop and this is the major expense I make otherwise when I make profit I use it for food, rentals and savings.
The purpose of this loan is for restocking my electronic shop . I sell phones, tablets, phone chargers, head sets, bluetooth devices etc. I will use the phone to get solar chargers and ordinary phone chargers. There is currently a lot of loadshedding in my country in most parts and so there is high demand for use of solar products. Hence I feel i need to buy solar chargers especially because of high demand am going to make a profit and my earnings will increase. The profit is for rent of the shop where I conduct business and the rest I reinvest in the business.
I do contract jobs from time to time of repairs and maintenance of computers for indiviual businessmen. This gives me some income which i can use to repay my loan in case the economy hits my business.
